Spices was started with a bold vision: to transform the spice trade by investing in the best regenerative farms across South Asia, paying farmers 3 to 5 times the typical commodity price they’d receive. Hailed for its aroma and flavor alike, the ubiquitous garam masala elevates just about any dish with its signature complexity, versatility, and heat. While every family's recipe is different, garam masala makes up the base of thousands of South Asian dishes. After testing 25 versions and creating five of our own, you're holding our final blend — 12 single-origin, freshly-harvested spices that have been carefully roasted and blended for a perfect balance of spicy, sweet, earthy, and zesty flavors. Sourced from 58 small regenerative family farms across India and Sri Lanka, the spices in this tin have been chosen for their flavor, freshness, and potency. In our commitment to building a more equitable spice trade, we pay an average 4x premium to our farm partners. Domestic orders over $45 are eligible for free economy shipping. Prioirty Shipping is extra. Shipping fees vary by location, size & weight, estimates are provided in the shopping cart.
Hawaii, Alaska & International Shipping is available and costs extra.
Preorder makes items available to you even if they are temporarily out of stock at our online fulfillment center. As soon as you submit your preorder we ask our artisans to ship your items to us. We usually receive the items within 3-7 business days. As soon as they arrive we send them to you. So your preorder should get to you in approximately 10-14 business days. Occasionally preorder items have to be shipped to us from overseas which makes the wait a little longer.
Ukrainian stoneware is handmade to order in Ukraine and as such takers 8-12 weeks to arrive.
