For instance, wall hangings are crafted from reclaimed yarn and fabric, Rwandan baskets from local grasses or upcycled plastic rice sacks, and jewelry incorporates seeds collected by Costa Rican artisan partners. Operating programs in Rwanda, Costa Rica, and Baton Rouge, they offer artisan skills training, maternal health education, adult literacy programs, fair trade artisan work, cooperative formation and training, small business training, and mentoring.
