The Amal Headband features the "Baker's Wife" tatreez motif ('Mart Al Farran' in Arabic). The design takes 1.5 hours for our Darzah artisans to embroider. Your purchase will support 1/5 of a day's empowering work for a talented woman artisan in Palestine.
Our artisans work for many hours on just one embroidered tatreez motif. They are thrilled to share traditional, handmade embroidery with you and celebrate Palestinian culture in the process. When you shop with us, you can display your heritage and support the real women behind it all.

Domestic orders over $45 are eligible for free economy shipping. Prioirty Shipping is extra. Shipping fees vary by location, size & weight, estimates are provided in the shopping cart.
Hawaii, Alaska & International Shipping is available and costs extra.
Preorder makes items available to you even if they are temporarily out of stock at our online fulfillment center. As soon as you submit your preorder we ask our artisans to ship your items to us. We usually receive the items within 3-7 business days. As soon as they arrive we send them to you. So your preorder should get to you in approximately 10-14 business days. Occasionally preorder items have to be shipped to us from overseas which makes the wait a little longer.
Ukrainian stoneware is handmade to order in Ukraine and as such takers 8-12 weeks to arrive.
