They are very thin, tight (and I have small hands!), slightly itchy, and provide the same as or less than the amount of warmth provided by an average pair of synthetic finger gloves. While I appreciate the fair trade alternative to buying a pair of light finger gloves from a place like target or Walmart I just felt like they would be significantly warmer. I think the description should be updated to state that they are great for cool fall weather or as a base level in winter under a heavier pair of mittens.
We bought two of these bags for our daughters for Christmas. It is great to have a place to shop for ethical merchandise like this and our girls really appreciated the bags. Although we purchased them on a day when the store wasn't going to be open for several days thereafter, we got a very fast response and a promise to leave the merchandise in a lock box, which they did. Overall, a shopping experience we actually enjoyed!
We had this coffee while visiting a friend in British Columbia, and it was the best tasting coffee I have had. Fortunately you can purchase this through Ethical Trade in the U.S. (It's from BC.) Unfortunately I have not yet received it because it was sent to Nashville, TN (very close to my home), and then forwarded to Louisiana for distribution.
I appreciated the good communication with staff in submitting this order. There was a problem with my order. Staff called me, made the correction immediately. I was completely satisfied within hours. The ornament is lovely.
