Anchal Project is a nonprofit empowering marginalized women through design and sustainable product creation. Since 2010, 180 artisans in Ajmer, India, have hand-stitched Anchal's home goods and fashion accessories using soft organic cotton. Each purchase supports full-time jobs, health care, design training, and educational workshops for these artisans.

Preorder makes items available to you even if they are temporarily out of stock at our online fulfillment center. As soon as you submit your preorder we ask our artisans to ship your items to us. We usually receive the items within 3-7 business days. As soon as they arrive we send them to you. So your preorder should get to you in approximately 10-14 business days. Occasionally preorder items have to be shipped to us from overseas which makes the wait a little longer.
Ukrainian stoneware is handmade to order in Ukraine and as such takers 8-12 weeks to arrive.

I had been wondering what to do with my larger/dangly earrings, as they were piling up in my drawer. I happened upon Ethical Trade Co as Manuel was opening up the store. When I saw this Haitian Tree of Life I immediately thought about hanging my earrings on it, and it worked out lovely!
This is a very cool ornament. My wife loves cranes and this looks good on the tree. The paint is beautiful and the ornament is sturdy.
