Lost Horizons knitwear offers a wide variety of handmade accessories and sweaters. We are Proud members of the Fair Trade Federation. As the seasons change and we slowly get ready for next fall, we are grateful of the work of our designer, Julie Powell. A true artist and craftsperson, Julie has been working with wool since the late 1960s. Over the course of her career, Julie has collaborated with some of the biggest names in US apparel and outdoor wear. Julie has been partnering with groups of knitters in Nepal for almost two decades, sharing skills, knowledge, and design known-how, and forming tight, personal bonds. The scale of her positive impact on Nepali women and their families is tremendous. All our hand crafted knitwear is created using 100% wool, sustainably sourced in New Zealand. Rich hues, deep tones and often unlikely color combinations characterize Lost Horizons’ creations. Each accessory and sweater capture the vibrant colors of life to bring joy and warmth to your winter wardrobe. From the foothills of the Rockies, where our knitwear is designed, to the foothills of the Himalayas, where it is hand crafted, nature's palette is the common thread connecting all of us over time and across continents.

Domestic orders over $45 are eligible for free economy shipping. Prioirty Shipping is extra. Shipping fees vary by location, size & weight, estimates are provided in the shopping cart.
Hawaii, Alaska & International Shipping is available and costs extra.
Preorder makes items available to you even if they are temporarily out of stock at our online fulfillment center. As soon as you submit your preorder we ask our artisans to ship your items to us. We usually receive the items within 3-7 business days. As soon as they arrive we send them to you. So your preorder should get to you in approximately 10-14 business days. Occasionally preorder items have to be shipped to us from overseas which makes the wait a little longer.
Ukrainian stoneware is handmade to order in Ukraine and as such takers 8-12 weeks to arrive.
