This black tea is organically farmed on Chota Tingrai, an estate in the Tinsukia region of Assam that is one of the first tea estates to be owned and operated by an Indian family in independent India. Situated in the fertile valley of Brahmaputra, a major river that connects India, Tibet and Bangladesh, the Chota Tingrai estate has found great success in organic tea management and focuses on improving soil fertility. CTC tea — named after a processing method known as crush, tear, curl — yields a stiff, medium-strength cup that holds up beautifully to milk and spices. It is the tea of choice for the millions of cups of chai made every day on the subcontinent.We ship Tuesday Mornings & Fridays.
Domestic orders over $45 are eligible for free economy shipping. Prioirty Shipping is extra. Shipping fees vary by location, size & weight, estimates are provided in the shopping cart.

Preorder makes items available to you even if they are temporarily out of stock at our online fulfillment center. As soon as you submit your preorder we ask our artisans to ship your items to us. We usually receive the items within 3-7 business days. As soon as they arrive we send them to you. So your preorder should get to you in approximately 10-14 business days. Occasionally preorder items have to be shipped to us from overseas which makes the wait a little longer.
Ukrainian stoneware is handmade to order in Ukraine and as such takers 8-12 weeks to arrive.
