Paper High was born from a love of travel, with a particular fondness for Asia. In 1998, a planned year-long trip turned into a three-year journey that led to a life-changing experience in Kathmandu. There, a chance encounter with a paper maker inspired the idea for a new business. Returning to the UK with two boxes of handmade journals and photo albums, Paper High began at Camden Market, where the unique, handcrafted products quickly gained popularity. As the business grew, further travels brought connections with Fair Trade suppliers in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, including an elephant dung paper producer. Today, Paper High is a sustainable giftware business committed to Fair Trade practices and giving back to the communities that craft their products.

As each holder is made from recycled newspaper it means that each one is unique and will come with its own set of colour combinations. You may not be able to choose the exact colours, but you can let us know what you would like the most prominent ones to be and we will do our best to send you something that you will love. Preorder makes items available to you even if they are temporarily out of stock at our online fulfillment center. As soon as you submit your preorder we ask our artisans to ship your items to us. We usually receive the items within 3-7 business days. As soon as they arrive we send them to you. So your preorder should get to you in approximately 10-14 business days. Occasionally preorder items have to be shipped to us from overseas which makes the wait a little longer.
Ukrainian stoneware is handmade to order in Ukraine and as such takers 8-12 weeks to arrive.
