The kalamata olive that grows in this region are known for their superior taste and quality. The kalamata olive is a large, dark purple olive with a smooth, meaty texture. Often used as table olives, liokareas kalamata olives are preserved in organic evoo, organic red wine vinegar, liokareas mani sea salt and water. Simply perfect! The liokareas name- pronounced lee-o-carry-us is synonymous with olives. For more than five generations, the liokareas family has harvested their farm the way it was harvested by family in 1875, by using traditional harvesting methods. Kalamata olives are found only on the peloponnese peninsula in southern greece. Same as the liokareas orchard! For hors-d'oeuvres and your favorite dishes or salads.
