Paper High was born from a love of travel, with a particular fondness for Asia. In 1998, a planned year-long trip turned into a three-year journey that led to a life-changing experience in Kathmandu. There, a chance encounter with a paper maker inspired the idea for a new business. Returning to the UK with two boxes of handmade journals and photo albums, Paper High began at Camden Market, where the unique, handcrafted products quickly gained popularity. As the business grew, further travels brought connections with Fair Trade suppliers in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, including an elephant dung paper producer. Today, Paper High is a sustainable giftware business committed to Fair Trade practices and giving back to the communities that craft their products.
About This Product
Brighten up a dull day with our colourful, one-of-a-kind leather satchel bags. Handcrafted from recycled leather, each one is patchwork of vibrant block colours. Secured with two traditional buckles, this bag is as practical as it is colourful. Open the buckles to find a slim pocket, and a roomy main compartment inside. There are also two zipped pockets on both the interior and exterior of the bag, to keep your smallest essentials close to hand. The leather shoulder strap is detachable and fully adjustable, for comfortable carrying over your shoulder or across your body. Alternatively, use the top handle to carry it like a traditional satchel. The exact lining fabric may vary slightly from the images but will be in the same colour palette and always complement the exterior of the bag. Due to the handmade nature of these products there may be some minor imperfections such as scratches and blemishes.
